Heading Toward Changes!
China! In process of becoming the world’s future mastodon and biggest agent in the Trade sector. Starting from your car, your children’s toys, the bag or jean you wear, to electronic devises; they were partially or entirely produced by Asia’s heart, China.
At present, important flows encircle the globe. They are due to long term import-export relationships engaged between Europe (even the entire planet) and this nonstop production factory that is China.
Deals are concluded and freights are sent. Nonetheless, even though China’s weight on the international scene has become titanic, China still misses last minutes opportunities. “A loss due to a lack of transparency in general, and on contracts, too many local regulations, barriers“(noticed by foreign companies-buyers)
In addition, according to China Daily*; this problem has been put on the forehead of international trade discussions. In general, both Chinese and foreign parties demand a fair cooperation.
– On one hand, foreign countries are happy to have imports from China because they are cheap and good. For, a full and fair access to the Chinese market should be given.
– On the other hand, an equal treatment to China on the International scene should be ensured; by lifting visible and invisible restrictions on Chinese products and companies.
Finally, within this diplomacy negotiation war, we have to keep in mind that China is on the way of integrating the GPA (Government Procurement Agreement) of the World Trade Organization. Naturally, this will involve many changes (for example, the obligation to open Chinese market or adhere to GPA’s rules), on both sides.
Overall, we can say that trading with China may, in most of the cases, remain difficult, delicate, and sometimes surprising. This is where SBE International comes in action. As part of the services provided, the Local Contract Consolidation offers foreign companies dealing with China, an affordable and secures way to avoid the gaps and inconveniences resulted by misunderstanding and insufficient legal background. As in any other place, legal updates and new legislations will gradually shape the way things are done in China today; and whenever this happen, SBE will always be ready.
